Instructions

  1. Unwrap ham and place flat side down in a 6-7 quart slow cooker. Rub brown sugar on all sides, then pour Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup and pineapple juice over top of ham.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Occasionally baste ham with collected juices from the bottom of the slow cooker. Once cooked, remove ham and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Maple Carrot Cake

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup
  • 1 ¼ cups vegetable oil
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1 cup unbleached/all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cup finely ground almonds
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Finely grated zest of 1 orange
  • 2 cups grated carrots

Frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a round baking pan.
  2. Use an electric mixer and beat eggs on high for 1 minute, then gradually add Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup, vegetable oil, sour cream, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine wheat and all-purpose flour, almonds, baking powder, allspice, cinnamon, salt, and orange zest.
  4. Make a well in the dry ingredients, then add liquid ingredients. Stir until smooth, then fold in carrots. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Let cake cool in pan before transferring to wire rack to frost.
  6. To make the frosting, beat the cream cheese until fluffy and creamy, then gradually add Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup, vanilla, and lemon zest. If desired, garnish the frosted cake with nuts.
  7. Yield: 12 – 15 servings

Crock Pot Maple Chicken & Veggies

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup
  • 3 medium white or sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 bag baby carrots
  • 1 small onion
  • Other vegetables, if desired
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place in bottom of slow cooker.
  2. Drizzle Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup over chicken.
  3. Place the potatoes, carrots, and onion (or other vegetables) into slow cooker, add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours, and then serve.

Pure Maple Bread

Pure Maple Bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degree F and grease and flour a loaf baking pan.
  2. Heat milk and butter in small saucepan – just to melt butter, do not bring to a boil.
  3. Once butter melts, stir in Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup, then remove from heat.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. In a large bowl, pour half of the milk mixture. Quickly add eggs in and stir. Add remaining milk mixture and stir until completely combined.
  6. Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix well. Stir in nuts if desired.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 1 hour, then let cool in pan for 15 minutes before serving.

Sweet & Sour Maple Chicken

  • ¾ cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 cups chicken, cooked and sliced
  • ¼ cup onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup canned pineapple chunks, drained
  • ½ cup celery, sliced in thin strips
  • ½ cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons pimento, diced

Instructions

  1. Pour pineapple juice into saucepan over high heat.
  2. Combine Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup, cornstarch, and salt, then pour into the pineapple juice.
  3. Add vinegar and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  5. Add onion, pineapple, celery, and green pepper. Cook 5 minutes.
  6. Add chicken and cook for 5 more minutes.

Maple Walnut Muffins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F and grease muffin tins.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and softened butter in a large bowl. Mix well.
  3. Add in eggs, Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup, and milk and stir until blended. Then, fold in the walnuts.
  4. Fill muffin tins halfway with batter. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes.
